🚀 Overview

This release delivers a small but meaningful set of UI improvements and safeguards across key workflows. The focus is on simplifying the desktop collection experience, improving default sorting behavior, and preventing accidental data loss during critical actions.

All updates are fully backward compatible with no breaking changes.

🖥️ Desktop Collection Improvements

The desktop collection view has been refined for a cleaner and more focused experience.

  • Condensed toolbar reduces visual clutter and improves usability
  • Large hero image replaced with a lightweight banner
  • Banner can be dismissed per user session for a more streamlined view

🔍 Filtering Updates

Filtering behavior has been improved to better match user expectations when browsing collections.

  • Title filter now defaults to numerical sorting (first to last)
  • Makes issue ordering more intuitive, especially for numbered series

⚠️ Destructive Action Safeguards

Additional confirmation messaging has been added to prevent accidental data loss during key actions.

These confirmations now appear in the following scenarios:

  • Closing the grading view during the grading/pricing flow before continuing to pricing
  • Closing the pricing view before adding a comic to the collection
  • Deleting a Vault post
  • Deleting a Vault comment

These updates ensure users have clear checkpoints before irreversible actions are completed.

📱 Why This Matters

For users:

  • Cleaner, less cluttered desktop experience
  • More intuitive sorting when filtering collections
  • Reduced risk of losing work or deleting content accidentally

For the platform:

  • Improved UX consistency across core workflows
  • Safer user interactions with destructive actions
  • Continued refinement of the collection and pricing experience
