This release introduces Vault Profiles, a major step forward in building the best comic collecting community online. Users can now explore each other's vault activity, showcase their collections through shared posts, and share public profiles with collectors outside of ComicSnap.
🆕 New Feature: Vault Profiles
Vault Profiles give collectors a public-facing identity inside (and outside) ComicSnap:
- Added public Vault Profile pages for every user
- View a collector's shared vault posts in one centralized profile
- Profiles are accessible to logged-out users and non-ComicSnap members
- Vault Profiles are fully shareable via URL (social, text, forums, etc.)
- Profiles automatically update as users share new vault posts
- Designed to highlight collections, activity, and engagement — not raw data dumps
- This lays the groundwork for discovery, reputation, and social interaction across the platform
🌐 Public Sharing Enhancements
Sharing your collection just got easier:
- Vault Profile pages render cleanly for non-authenticated users
- No account required to view shared vault content
- Optimized for link previews and external sharing
- Consistent layout between logged-in and public views
