Why Use Tagging?

Tagging lets you create a true digital representation of your physical comic collection. With ComicSnap tagging, you can organize your books using storage-based tags such as boxes, containers, closets, or even specific rooms or floors in your home.
We have also added General Tagging, which gives you complete flexibility to create any tags you want to support how you collect. Examples include tags like Personal Grails, Ready for Grading, or For Sale. Use tags however they make sense for your workflow.
How It Works
Add Tags Directly from Comic Details
Tags are available directly from the Comic Details view inside your collection. From there, you can add as many tags as you would like to a book. Just tap "Add Tags", select from your existing tags, and save — it is that simple.
Where to Manage Your Tags
How to Add and Delete Tags
Tags are managed from User Settings → Tags. This is where you can create new tags for both storage and general use, or remove tags that are no longer needed. Managing tags here keeps your collection clean and organized as it grows.
Tags and Filters
Once a tag is added to an issue, it becomes fully searchable using collection filters. You can filter by a tag like Storage Box 1 and then stack additional filters such as Publisher or Title to narrow things down even further. This makes finding exactly what you're looking for faster and more precise.
