🚀 Overview

This release introduces Key Finder, a new AI-powered feature that helps identify whether a comic is considered a key issue and explains why. Key Finder is designed to surface meaningful insights directly inside your collection, reducing the need for external research while browsing or scanning books.

All updates are fully backward compatible with no breaking changes.

🔑 New Feature: Key Finder

Key Finder is now available to paid users and can be run on any comic in your collection.

• Accessible from the Comic Details view
• Can be run on any existing comic in your collection
• Uses AI to analyze issue metadata and determine key status
• Provides reasoning when an issue qualifies as a key

This allows collectors to quickly understand why a book may be significant—such as first appearances, major story events, or other key factors.

📷 Key Finder During Scanning

Key Finder is also integrated into the scanning flow:

• Appears during the pricing step of any scan option
• Located directly under the market value summary
• Automatically analyzes the scanned issue

This makes it easy to surface key insights at the exact moment you're evaluating a book.

🧪 Beta Access Note

Key Finder is a paid-user feature.

Beta testers who would like early access can DM their email, and access will be enabled manually.
