🚀 Overview:

This update addresses two issues in the Advanced Grading flow where the AI was incorrectly assigning default metadata during grading. These defaults affected how books were classified and priced, especially for users working with reprints, variant covers, or modern series with multiple editions.

🆕 Features Released:

🐞 Fixed print type defaulting

Fixed an issue where the AI would default print type to "First Print" even when no print information was confirmed.

🐞 Fixed variant type defaulting

Fixed an issue where the AI would default variant type to "Regular" instead of leaving it unassigned. This ensures more accurate data for pricing, collection management, and export workflows.

🧠 Why This Matters

Advanced grading now respects uncertainty. If the AI cannot confidently determine print or variant info, it will no longer assume. This reduces mispriced books, incorrect edition logging, and surprise metadata overrides.

🐞 Bug Fixes:

None.
